Every year the pupils at St Mary's CE Primary School, High Crompton, hold a Harvest service in our local St Mary's Church. The pupils of Year 3 lead the service and the whole school attend. Pupils and staff offer food donations to distribute to families in our local area who are less fortunate than ourselves. This year due to Covid 19 we are unable to hold our service in the usual way or distribute food donations locally. Therefore this Harvest we have decided to look further than our locality and look outwards globally where Covid is affecting people and families right across the world. Mary's Meals was suggested to us by our local clergy Rev Katy Cunliffe and particularly appealed to us with the link with our school and church name.
We hope that our families support our Harvest Celebrations this year and donate to Mary's Meals so as a school we can make a difference to the lives of others less fortunate.
